Billing

Manage your BrikSync PropOS subscription from Settings → Billing. This page covers upgrading your plan, viewing invoices, updating payment details, and understanding your billing cycle.

Viewing Your Current Plan

Go to Settings → Billing to see:
  • Your current plan — FREE, PRO, or BUSINESS.
  • Your current usage — properties used vs. limit, tenants, team members.
  • Your next billing date (if on a paid plan).
  • Your billing email — the address invoices are sent to.

Upgrading Your Plan

To upgrade from FREE to PRO or BUSINESS, or from PRO to BUSINESS:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Upgrade Plan.
  3. Select the plan you want to move to.
  4. Review the plan features and pricing.
  5. Enter your payment details (credit or debit card).
  6. Click Confirm Upgrade.
Your new plan takes effect immediately. All plans are billed monthly — there are no annual billing options. You will be charged at the point of upgrade and then on the same date each month going forward.
When you upgrade, all your existing data — properties, tenants, leases, payments, and documents — is preserved. Nothing is affected by a plan change.

Downgrading Your Plan

You can downgrade your plan at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the lower plan.
  4. Review any conflicts (e.g. if you have more properties than the new plan allows).
  5. Resolve any conflicts — you will need to archive excess properties or tenants before the downgrade can proceed.
  6. Confirm the downgrade.
If your current usage exceeds the limits of the lower plan (e.g. you have 8 properties and are downgrading to FREE which allows 3), you must archive the excess before the downgrade takes effect. Failure to resolve conflicts will prevent the downgrade from completing.

Cancelling Your Subscription

To cancel a paid subscription and revert to the FREE plan:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Cancel Subscription.
  3. Review the cancellation terms.
  4. Confirm cancellation.
Your paid plan remains active until the end of your current monthly billing period. After that, your account moves to the FREE plan with its associated limits. Your data is retained on the FREE plan. If your usage exceeds FREE plan limits, you will be prompted to resolve the excess before regaining full access.

Viewing and Downloading Invoices

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Invoice History.
  2. A list of all past invoices is displayed, showing the date, amount, and plan.
  3. Click Download next to any invoice to save a PDF.
Invoices include your organisation name, billing address, and VAT number (if applicable).

Updating Your Payment Method

  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Update Payment Method.
  3. Enter your new card details securely.
  4. Click Save.
Your new payment method will be used for the next billing cycle.
Payment details are handled securely by our payment provider. BrikSync PropOS never stores your full card number.

Updating Your Billing Email

Invoices are sent to your billing email address. To update it:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Edit Billing Details.
  3. Update the billing email field.
  4. Click Save.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, you will receive an email notification. BrikSync PropOS will automatically retry the payment three times over the following 7 days. If payment is not resolved within this period, your account will be placed on the FREE plan until billing is updated. No data is deleted. To resolve a failed payment:
  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Update your payment method.
  3. Click Retry Payment.
