Portal Syndication

Portal Syndication allows you to publish your property listings from BrikSync PropOS directly to external property portals and listing sites — automatically, without duplicating work. When a unit becomes vacant, syndicate the listing and reach more prospective tenants faster.
Portal Syndication is available on the BUSINESS plan only. Upgrade from Settings → Billing to access this feature.

How It Works

  1. You create or update a property listing in BrikSync PropOS.
  2. Enable syndication for that listing and select the target portals.
  3. BrikSync PropOS publishes the listing to your connected external portals automatically.
  4. When the unit is filled and the lease is created, the listing is automatically withdrawn from portals.
This eliminates the need to log in to multiple portal dashboards to manage listings individually.

Setting Up Portal Connections

Before you can syndicate listings, you need to connect your external portal accounts.
  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Portal Syndication.
  2. Click Connect Portal next to the portal you want to link.
  3. Follow the authentication flow for that portal (typically an API key or OAuth login).
  4. Once connected, the portal will show as Active.
Connected portals are available to use for all syndicated listings across your organisation.
BrikSync PropOS connects to a range of property listing portals. The specific portals available depend on your region. Check the integrations page for the current list of supported portals.

Creating a Syndicated Listing

  1. Navigate to the property and then the specific unit you want to list.
  2. Click Create Listing on the unit detail page.
  3. Complete the listing form:
    • Listing Title — a compelling headline for the listing.
    • Description — full description of the unit and property features.
    • Monthly Rent — the advertised rent amount.
    • Available From — when the unit will be ready for new tenants.
    • Lease Type — fixed term or periodic.
    • Minimum Lease Length — optional.
    • Photos — upload high-quality images (recommended: 5–10 photos minimum).
    • Amenities — select applicable amenities (parking, garden, pet-friendly, etc.).
  4. Under Syndication, toggle on each portal you want to publish to.
  5. Click Publish Listing.
The listing will be submitted to each selected portal. Publication times vary by portal — typically within minutes to a few hours.

Managing Active Listings

From Syndication → Active Listings you can:
  • View all currently published listings.
  • See the syndication status for each portal — Published, Pending, or Failed.
  • Edit listing details — changes will be pushed to all connected portals automatically.
  • Temporarily pause a listing without deleting it.
  • Withdraw a listing from all portals when a unit is filled.

Withdrawing a Listing

When a unit is filled and a new lease is created in BrikSync PropOS, the system will prompt you to withdraw the associated listing. You can also withdraw manually:
  1. Open the active listing.
  2. Click Withdraw from Portals.
  3. Confirm the action.
The listing will be removed from all connected portals. This typically takes effect within minutes, though some portals may take longer.
Always withdraw listings promptly once a unit is filled. Leaving a listing live after a unit is occupied can create a poor experience for prospective tenants who enquire about an unavailable property.

Data exports

Portal syndication supports batch exports of your listing data in JSON or XML format. You can use exports to feed external systems, create backups, or share listing data with partners.

Running an export

  1. Go to Syndication → Exports.
  2. Click New Export.
  3. Select the export format — JSON or XML.
  4. Click Start Export.
Each export job tracks its processing status:
StatusDescription
pendingExport queued, waiting to be processed.
processingExport is currently being generated.
completedExport finished — download link is available.
failedExport encountered an error (see error message).
Once the export completes, a download link is provided. You can also schedule recurring exports from the same page.
Data exports include the count of properties in each export and a timestamp for when the job completed. Failed exports include an error message to help you troubleshoot.

Listing Performance

For portals that support it, BrikSync PropOS will pull basic performance data back into your dashboard:
  • Views — how many times your listing was viewed.
  • Enquiries — how many prospective tenants contacted you via the portal.
This data is available from the listing’s detail page under the Performance tab.
