AI Assistant

The BrikSync PropOS AI Assistant is an intelligent tool that helps property managers and landlords work faster and smarter. It can analyse documents, classify maintenance issues, suggest rent amounts, and draft professional communications — saving you time on routine tasks.
The AI Assistant is available on PRO and BUSINESS plans only. To access it, upgrade your plan from Settings → Billing.

What the AI Assistant Can Do

Lease Analysis

Upload a lease document and ask the AI to summarise key terms, flag unusual clauses, or highlight important dates.

Maintenance Classification

The AI automatically classifies incoming maintenance requests by type and suggested priority, helping you triage faster.

Rent Suggestions

Based on your property details and local market signals, the AI can suggest a competitive rent range for a unit.

Communication Drafting

Draft professional emails, tenant notices, or maintenance responses. Provide the context and the AI generates a draft for you to review and send.

Property Description Generator

Drafts listing copy from your property and unit data. Provide the property details and the AI produces a ready-to-use description. BUSINESS plan only.

Market Insights

Delivers a weekly portfolio summary with occupancy trends, rent benchmarks, and actionable highlights. Available on PRO and BUSINESS plans.

Document Q&A

Upload a file and ask questions about its contents. The AI reads the document and answers in context. Available on PRO and BUSINESS plans.

Using the AI Assistant

Accessing the AI Assistant

Go to AI Assistant in the left sidebar. The assistant interface is a conversational panel where you type your request.

Example Prompts

  • “Summarise the key terms of this lease and highlight any unusual clauses.”
  • “Draft a polite rent increase notice for a tenant whose rent is increasing from £950 to £1,050 next month.”
  • “What is a reasonable rent for a 2-bedroom flat in a residential property with modern amenities?”
  • “Classify this maintenance request and suggest a priority level: ‘The hot water boiler stopped working this morning.’”

Lease Analysis

  1. Open the AI Assistant.
  2. Click Analyse Document.
  3. Upload the lease PDF or select an existing document from your Documents library.
  4. Type your question or select a suggested prompt (e.g. “Summarise key dates” or “Flag non-standard clauses”).
  5. Review the AI’s response.

Important: AI Suggestions Are a Starting Point

Always review AI-generated output before taking action or sending communications. The AI Assistant is a productivity tool — not a legal advisor. It may make errors, miss context, or lack knowledge of local tenancy laws specific to your jurisdiction.Do not rely on AI output as legal advice. Consult a qualified professional for legal and financial matters.
The AI Assistant is designed to save you time on first drafts and analysis, not to replace your professional judgement.

Maintenance Classification (Automatic)

When a tenant submits a new maintenance request, the AI Assistant automatically:
  • Classifies the issue by category (e.g. Plumbing, Heating, Electrical, Structural).
  • Suggests a priority level based on the description (emergency, high, medium, or low).
These suggestions appear on the maintenance request detail page. You can accept the suggested classification or override it manually.
Tenant-submitted descriptions with more detail produce more accurate AI classifications. Encourage tenants to describe the issue thoroughly when submitting a request.

Rent Suggestions

The AI rent suggestion tool considers:
  • Property type and size.
  • Number of bedrooms and bathrooms.
  • Property location (city and postal code).
  • Current rent for comparable units in your portfolio.
To use it:
  1. Open a vacant unit.
  2. Click Get Rent Suggestion in the unit detail view.
  3. Review the suggested range.
  4. Use this as input when setting the rent on a new lease.
Rent suggestions are indicative estimates based on available data. Always conduct your own market research and consider local market conditions before setting a rent amount.

Communication Drafting

  1. Open the AI Assistant.
  2. Select Draft Communication.
  3. Choose the communication type — Rent Reminder, Maintenance Update, Lease Renewal Notice, General Message.
  4. Provide context — the tenant’s name, the situation, and any key details to include.
  5. The AI will produce a draft.
  6. Edit the draft as needed, then copy it to send via email or the messaging feature.

Property description generator

The AI can draft listing copy from your property and unit data.
  1. Open the AI Assistant.
  2. Select Generate Description.
  3. Choose the property and unit (or provide details manually).
  4. The AI generates a listing-ready description based on the property type, amenities, location, and unit features.
  5. Edit as needed, then copy the text to your listing or brochure.
The property description generator is available on the BUSINESS plan only.

Market insights

The AI delivers a weekly portfolio summary with occupancy trends, rent benchmarks, and actionable highlights.
  1. Open the AI Assistant.
  2. Select Market Insights.
  3. Review the summary, which includes:
    • Portfolio-wide occupancy rate and trend.
    • Rent benchmarks compared to similar properties.
    • Actionable highlights (e.g. units with below-market rent, upcoming lease expirations).
Insights update automatically each week based on your current portfolio data.
Market insights are available on PRO and BUSINESS plans.

Document Q&A

Upload a file and ask the AI questions about its contents.
  1. Open the AI Assistant.
  2. Select Document Q&A.
  3. Upload a file (PDF, DOCX, or plain text).
  4. Type your question — for example, “What is the notice period in this contract?” or “Summarise the payment terms.”
  5. The AI reads the document and answers in context.
Document Q&A is available on PRO and BUSINESS plans.
