Team Management

BrikSync PropOS supports multi-user organisations with role-based access control. Admins can invite team members, assign appropriate roles, and manage access from a central location.

Roles Overview

RoleAccess Level
Super AdminFull organisation access. Can delete the organisation and transfer ownership.
AdminFull access to all properties, settings, billing, and team management.
Property ManagerAccess to assigned properties only. Manages tenants, maintenance, and leases.
LandlordAccess to own properties. Views rent, leases, and maintenance.
BrokerManages leads, deals, and commissions. PRO+ only.
TenantAccess to their own tenancy data via the tenant portal.
Tenants are invited separately via the tenant record, not from Team Management. Team Management covers your internal staff and agents.
The BrikSync platform owner account does not appear in your organisation’s team list. This account is managed separately and cannot be edited, reassigned, or deactivated by organisation admins.

Inviting a Team Member

  1. Go to Settings → Team Management.
  2. Click Invite Member.
  3. Enter the person’s email address.
  4. Select their role from the dropdown.
  5. Click Send Invitation.
The invitee will receive an email with a secure link to accept the invitation and create their account. Invitation links expire after 72 hours. If the link expires, resend the invitation from the team management page.

Tenant portal accounts do not count toward the team member limit. Only internal staff accounts (Admin, Property Manager, Landlord, Broker) count.

Assigning Properties to a Property Manager

Property Managers can only see and manage properties that are explicitly assigned to them.
  1. Open the Property detail page.
  2. Go to the Team tab.
  3. Click Add Manager and select the team member.
  4. Click Save.
A Property Manager can be assigned to multiple properties, and multiple managers can be assigned to a single property.

Editing a Team Member’s Role

  1. Go to Settings → Team Management.
  2. Find the team member.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Change the role from the dropdown.
  5. Click Save Changes.
Role changes take effect immediately. The team member will see their new permissions on their next page load or login.

Deactivating a Team Member

Deactivating a team member revokes their access to the platform immediately. Their historical activity, notes, and records are preserved.
  1. Go to Settings → Team Management.
  2. Find the team member.
  3. Click Deactivate.
  4. Confirm the action.
Deactivated users appear under the Inactive tab in Team Management and can be reactivated at any time.
Before deactivating a Property Manager, reassign any open maintenance requests they are handling and update property assignments so the properties remain covered.

Reactivating a Team Member

  1. Go to Settings → Team Management → Inactive.
  2. Find the deactivated member.
  3. Click Reactivate.
The user will regain access on their next login. You may need to reassign properties if they were removed during deactivation.

Pending Invitations

Invitations that have been sent but not yet accepted appear in the Pending tab. From there you can:
  • Resend an invitation (generates a fresh link).
  • Cancel a pending invitation if it is no longer needed.
