Week in review
This week focuses on API documentation accuracy, tighter plan gating for API access, improved security posture for test credentials, and faster page loads across several dashboard surfaces.Updates
-
API documentation now reflects live endpoints only — The API overview and authentication guide have been rewritten to document only the endpoints that are currently live. Previously, planned endpoints were listed alongside implemented ones, which could cause confusion when integrating. The interactive Swagger UI at
/api/docs/ui is also now documented.
-
API access is now BUSINESS-only — API integration access has moved from PRO + BUSINESS to BUSINESS-only. If you are on the PRO plan, existing API workflows will continue during the transition period. See the updated plans and pricing for the full comparison.
-
Sandbox access replaces shared test credentials — Public test credentials have been removed from the documentation for security reasons. If you need a managed demo environment for onboarding, procurement, or security review, you can now request sandbox access directly from the BrikSync team. Learn more
-
Faster leads, payments, and maintenance pages — Data fetching on the leads, payments, and maintenance pages has been optimized to reduce redundant lookups. You should notice quicker load times, especially on larger portfolios.
-
Refreshed lease and screening pages — The leases, renewals, and tenant screening pages have been updated with an improved layout and better data presentation.
Bug fixes
-
Fixed property brochure share links using an inconsistent URL structure, which could cause 404 errors when opening a shared brochure link.
-
Fixed the role permissions table showing incorrect column alignment for lease management access.
