Week in review
This week strengthens account security for admins, speeds up page loads, and adds social preview cards when you share BrikSync links.Updates
-
MFA enforcement for admin accounts — Multi-factor authentication is now required for all admin-level accounts. This adds an extra layer of protection for users with elevated permissions. Learn more
-
Faster page loads — Animation libraries are now lazy-loaded, deferring 165 KB from the initial page load. Analytics pages also load faster thanks to improved caching, and admin dashboards now batch data requests instead of loading them one at a time.
-
Social preview cards — Sharing a BrikSync link on social media or in chat now displays a branded preview card with the page title and description, making shared links easier to identify at a glance.
-
Faster documentation site — The documentation at docs.briksync.com now loads faster. The site is served directly via DNS instead of being proxied through the main application, reducing latency on every page.
Bug fixes
-
Deployment pipeline restored — A configuration issue was silently preventing production deployments for approximately two weeks. This has been resolved — all recent updates, including security patches and performance improvements, are now live.
-
Contact form rate limiting — The contact form is now rate-limited to prevent abuse. This protects the form from automated submissions without affecting normal usage.
-
Safer error messages — Error pages no longer display raw technical details. If something goes wrong, you’ll see a clear, helpful message instead of internal information.
